All of us ultimately starts in the same place when we start a network marketing business. Just recently I was talking to one of my friends who also happens to be in one of my downlines. He said that his wife was teasing him telling him he didn’t have a business at all. He was just recruit for someone else’s business.

When you are first starting out in your network marketing business you really don’t have much of a business at all. The problem is when crappy sponsors start leading you down the wrong path. After some time you will start to realize that there is a natural order of things. Once you have your flow going you will start to see your business emerge.
Network marketing isn’t about network marketing products. Your actual business is the business of helping other people reach achieve their dreams. Your business is teaching other people how to duplicate your marketing.
Network Marketing – Model Of Success
Here is how most of journeys look
- We leverage our sponsors and company lead capture pages (this is the learning stage)
- We develop the ability to attract our own leads into our own unique marketing campaigns
- We realize that we need to earn money on the front of our “business”
- We actually realize that our network marketing company isn’t our business
- We start sharing our personal online marketing experiences
- We start creating our own unique products to sell to the market
All of us at one time or another has went through these steps. Ultimately you will also go through these steps.
Yes, you need to learn how to sell your companies products. Yes, you need to spend time learning how to be a good affiliate marketer. Yes, more than likely one day you will have enough success, enough credibility to start creating your own products.
Final Thought: Never rule out the possibility to give your products away for free in exchange for a persons name and email address. From an online marketers perspective, network marketing is just a way to earn a residual income. While it is important to believe in what you do. Never loose site that your actual business is the business of selling yourself. So next time someone ask you what your business is, tell them it’s the business of relationship building..
Better yet tell them you are in the business of seeing peoples lives change.
