Empower Network came on the scene and literally turned the internet network marketing industry on it’s head.

What does this mean?

For the past few years Network Marketing “gurus” have been making mega bucks off of people’s hard work. Over the years people where getting pretty pissed off with all these guru’s telling everyone what they need to do to be successful.

My story goes something like this…

I thought maybe I could make some money online, so one night I started searching around.. That was back in 2002. The first few years I spent thousands of dollars not learning much. Finally after loosing a ton of money (learning stuff too )

I tend to gravitate towards network marketing businesses not because the products are so powerful and awe – inspiring. Rather I lean towards them because the comp plans reward you for you efforts. However network marketing & affiliate marketing have their down sides.

Why?

Because both models only pay you a small percentage while the people who created the product or the people at the top of the network marketing business end up making most of the money while you fight over the left overs.  I believe most people who join network marketing businesses online are really only joining the business because they have a chance to make money with it.  While it is true some people join companies because they really like the product, more often than not it’s their hunger to increase their income that fuels their buying decision.

After spending years in the network marketing industry and just getting by, I knew something had to change. Not just for me but for all the people who are coming online who are just looking for ways to increase their income.

I was just about to throw in the towel on the whole internet network marketing thingy, then something happened that dragged me back in.
